Anishinabek Nation Youth Life Promotion and Prescription Drug Awareness Summit

The Anishinabek Nation will be hosting a summit aimed toward the youth of our communities, enriching them with knowledge from keynote speakers, interesting workshops, and group activities based around life promotion and prescription drug awareness.
The summit will provide youth with activities but also opportunities to network with youth from other First Nations, build ideas and strategies to assist planning of future summits or activities within individual First Nations. Travel, meals and accommodations will be sponsored for up to three youth and one chaperone per participating Anishinabek First Nation.
Where: Springwater Park – Barrie, ON
Springwater Park is one of Ontario’s beautiful provincial parks, containing more than 12 km of hiking trails; the park is located on Beausoleil First Nation traditional territory and is also staffed by the First Nation.
