Anishinabek First Nations Citizenship Regional Session – Thunder Bay ON

Learn about INAC’s Consultation:

  1. Removal of the 1951 cut-off from the Indian Act;
  2. Remaining inequities related to registration and membership under the Indian Act;
  3. Devolution of the responsibility for determining membership/citizenship to First Nations.

The Anishinabek Nation (Union of Ontario Indians) will pay travel and accommodations for 1 representative per First Nation that is a member of the Anishinabek Nation.
