SAVE THE DATE – Crisis Response & Mental Wellness Teams

The Anishinabek Nation is seeking input from community members who are involved in ON-RESERVE crisis planning to take part in a discussion to develop the composition and housing of 7 Crisis Response and Mental Health Teams throughout the Anishinabek territory.
The goal will be to have a full menu of community-based mental health and wellness services that will meet professional and indigenous knowledge standards for our members.
This will be of interest to on-reserve front-line workers; on-reserve First responders; on-reserve Traditional practitioners; Chiefs; on-reserve Community Health Reps; on-reserve Health & Social Service Directors; on-reserve Mental Health Workers; on-reserve Counsellors; on-reserve Educators; on-reserve Women/Mens shelters; on-reserve Healing Lodges; and Area Health Boards.
Please register by Friday, November 3 so that meeting room and accommodations can be coordinated.
TRAVEL EXPENSES WILL BE REIMBURSED FOR TWO PEOPLE PER COMMUNITY
