What’s Going on Inside the Brains of our Children?

Cost: Free event with snacks and lunch provided
Join us for a day about understanding our children’s development – from emotional connections to making sense of sensations, social interactions, reading, writing and planning.
This can help us support their amazing journey!
Who is Invited?
Parents, grandparents, other supportive adults, day care providers, professionals and teachers are all most welcome!
What will the day look like?
We will learn about child development in 4 stages:
- Sensory processing and early emotional connections
- Development of posture, gross motor skills and coordination
- Development of fine motor and visual motor skills
- Development of regulation, school related skills and executive functions (for example, impulse control and planning)
For each stage, we will have activities for the participating children to support their development.
